Kangan, Dec 08 (KNO): Traffic Police Rural Kashmir on Monday intensified enforcement drive against wrong parking in the Main Market area of central Kashmir’s Kangan area. The drive was led by SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh, accompanied by DySP Traffic Gulzar Ahmad, who supervised the action on the ground. Several vehicles found parked in no-parking zones and obstructing the main road were fined on the spot. They said the main market stretch often witnesses frequent traffic jams due to improper and haphazard parking—causing inconvenience to pedestrians, shopkeepers, patients and daily commuters. SSP Traffic told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the department will continue to take strict action against the violators. The traffic officials appealed the public to cooperate with the department and urged to avoid unauthorised parking in the busy marketplace to ensure hassle-free travel for all—(KNO)
